Admizu collaborates with developers, brands, and advertising agencies as Clients to deliver advertising to individuals (“End Users”, “you”, “your”).
Admizu prioritizes the privacy of End Users while processing data about you during our marketing activities based on contact information you provide to Admizu or to third parties, as described in this Policy.
The processing of “Personal Data” (meaning any information that may reasonably identify individuals) is essential for fulfilling our contractual obligations, providing our services, safeguarding our legitimate interests, and complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
By collabrating with us, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure, and other processing of Personal Data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
End Users can opt out of “selling” their personal information to Admizu via a mechanism that allows you to adjust your preferences on the same page or app where you encountered Admizu as a partner, or by contacting us at info@admizu.com with your Google Advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS). A “sale” of Personal Data under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) is broadly defined to include “selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means” the Personal Data of an End User to another business or third party “for monetary or other valuable consideration.” Without the necessary technical identifiers, we cannot locate you to comply with your request to opt out. If you choose to opt out of data processing for this purpose, you may still see advertisements, but they may be less tailored to your interests. You may also appoint an authorized agent to exercise these rights.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
- Device and App Information: This includes your device type and model, system language, operating system (such as Android or iOS), Software Development Kit version (SDK), mobile carrier name, installed mobile browsers (like Chrome or Safari), your device’s IP address, and identifiers such as IDFA, Android Advertising ID, or other unique device identifiers.
- Ad Information: Information regarding the online ads and personalized content served (or attempted to be served) to you. This includes interaction metrics such as ad impressions, clicks, engagement history, and whether you visited the Client’s website, downloaded an app, or made a purchase.
- Location Information: Admizu collects general location data (such as country) based on your IP address. This data does not pinpoint your precise location but provides an inferred interest in a location. We may also collect precise location data (using GPS, Wi-Fi access points, and other geo-location data) if you enable location services on your device.
- Log Information: This includes details about the app or website visited, time zone, and network connection type (e.g., Wi-Fi, cellular).
- Information from Advertising Partners: Data received from our Clients and Partners to facilitate ad delivery and personalization, which may include pseudonymous identifiers.
- Demographic Information: Data such as gender, age, marital status, and birth year.
Collectively referred to as “Ad Data”.
WHEN WE COLLECT AD DATA
Admizu collects information in the following situations:
- Browsing Our Website: We collect data like your IP address, browser type, and analytics information through cookies. Admizu informs you about our use of cookies.
- Joining Our Platform: By accepting this Privacy Policy, information shared during registration will be used for purposes such as managing your relationship with Admizu, accessing and using our Platform, managing administrative tasks and billing, fraud control, and sharing updates related to Admizu’s services.
When Admizu sends newsletters, you can opt out at any time. You may exercise your rights to access, rectify, delete, or oppose the processing of your personal data by contacting us at info@admizu.com, attaching a copy of your ID or proof of identity. Third-party service providers may access your data on Admizu’s behalf per our service contracts that ensure they handle your data according to our instructions and legal security measures. Personal data may also be transferred to Admizu’s business partners. If any recipients are located in a country without adequate legal protection for personal data, Admizu will take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient adheres to the principles outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Admizu’s Services enable advertisers to purchase advertising through automation (“Admizu Services”). To perform these Services, Admizu collects minimal data from End Users. Normally, we do not receive directly identifiable Personal Data. “Personal Data” refers to any information that can identify a natural person or relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. To provide our Services, Admizu employs tracking and tagging technology on the Inventory, allowing us to collect basic information about End Users.
LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
We collect Personal Data when we have your consent (e.g., through a checkbox). Your consent is securely stored in our systems, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@admizu.com.
While Admizu seeks to obtain consent from the relevant data subject for each processing activity, we do not interact directly with End Users; thus, consent must be collected and conveyed by other companies in the advertising supply chain that have a direct relationship with the End User. Additionally, we may rely on legitimate interests when we believe your privacy interests do not outweigh this interest. This legal ground may apply to our sales and marketing activities. You can always object to the processing of your Personal Data.
ADMIZU’S ROLE IN PROCESSING AD DATA
Depending on how Admizu collects Ad Data, we may act as either an Independent Data Controller or a Processor following our Clients’ instructions, without having a direct relationship with the End User whose information we process. A “Data Controller” determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data, while a “Processor” processes Personal Data on behalf of a Data Controller.
PERMITTED USES OF AD DATA
- Serving Ads and Promoting Apps: Allowing Clients to promote their advertising, apps, and content in their mobile apps or web display, and enabling Clients to bid on Inventory.
- Interest-Based Advertising: Helping our partners infer interests to deliver ads and personalized content to End Users based on their behavior. We will not serve interest-based ads based on sensitive information such as race, religion, or health. For End Users in the EEA, we will serve interest-based advertisements only with express consent.
- Ad Reporting and Conversions: Measuring ad performance, reporting to Clients on ad interactions, and tracking website visits and conversions.
- Analytics and Frequency Capping: Allowing Clients to analyze their applications and prevent End Users from seeing the same ad repeatedly, while also using usage data to improve our services.
- Fraud Detection and Prevention: Identifying invalid clicks and protecting Admizu and our partners from fraudulent activities.
- Improving Our Services: Researching and analyzing data to enhance and develop our services and ensure technology functionality.
Collectively referred to as “Permitted Purposes”.
